The hotel which I stayed in had a great location right across from Essen Hbf. Perfect for exploring the city and nearby areas. My room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, which I appreciated after a long day. I had a minor issue with the air conditioning. it wasn’t working as effectively as expected during the summer heat, leaving the room warmer than I would have liked. Breakfast was bustling with options, but during peak hours, seating became a challenge. I ended up waiting a bit longer than I anticipated to find a place to sit. The staff were courteous and helpful, especially Matthias, who stood out during my stay. I handed some clothes for laundry, and while they were returned late, I appreciated the discount offered to make up for it. Overall, it was a satisfying stay with some hiccups, but the positives outweighed the negatives.

Location offers easy access to shops and restaurants, making it an excellent base for exploring. The spacious layout of the rooms enhances comfort with modern amenities.
Air conditioning barely cuts it during warmer months. it left the room uncomfortably warm late into the night. Additionally, the breakfast area gets chaotic with no available seating during peak hours, leaving you waiting to grab your meal. Lastly, the lack of in-room coffee or tea facilities makes it a hassle to get your fix when you want it.

Good for a concert stay
The place was clean, probably the cleanest I’ve seen this summer. The staff was super helpful when I needed directions and info about transport.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still within reason.
